Area Counties See Bump in June Unemployment

(Southeastern IN) – All four area counties saw a bump in unemployment in June.

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development says Decatur County was at 3.6%, which is up from 3.3% in May.

Franklin County came in at 4.0%, a jump from 3.6%.

Dearborn County checked in at 4.2%, up from 3.8% the month before.

Ripley County was at 4.7%, a leap from 4.3%.

The statewide average for June was 3.8%.
