Southeastern IN — Cleanup from Friday’s heavy rains and resulting floods took place around Southeastern Indiana over the weekend.
Flood warnings were issued all over the area after heavy rains throughout the day led to high water in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
Franklin County was under a Yellow Travel Advisory until it was lifted early Saturday afternoon.
All low-water crossings in the county were closed for a while due to high water.
There were numerous road closures, and Franklin County Community Schools were dismissed two hours early on Friday afternoon because of flooding.
