(Southeastern IN) – Students interested in a career in law enforcement can apply now for the Indiana Sheriff’s Association Scholarship.
High school seniors or college students planning to major in criminal justice are eligible to receive approximately 40 scholarships of $750 each.
To be eligible to apply you must be:
- An Indiana resident;
- Current member of the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association or a dependent child/grandchild of a member;
- Must attend an Indiana college or university;
- Major in a law enforcement field;
- Enrolled as a full-time student (12 credit hours).
How to Apply:
- Pick up the application paperwork at your county sheriff’s office or your high school counselor’s office.
- Applications can also be downloaded from the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association website: https://indianasheriffs.org/
The deadline to apply is April 1.
