Anthony “Tony” Weston Sams, 54, of Moores Hill, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, in Dillsboro, IN.
He was born November 9, 1968, in Ft. Thomas, KY, son of Jan (Massey) Boggs and the late Gary Sams.
He worked at Alternative Plastics for over 29 years.
Tony was a big outdoors man. He enjoyed fishing, hunting for ginseng, hauling the kids around on the quad, and cutting wood. He just loved being out in nature. Tony was a quiet man, listened to all genres of music, enjoyed playing cards, and loved his dogs, especially Chance. Tony loved his family more than anything.
Tony is survived by his loving girls, Logan Sams of Aurora, IN, and Leah Sams of Aurora, IN; mother, Jan (Doug) Boggs of Clearwater, FL, siblings, Gary (Jeanette) Sams of Bridgetown, OH, Ange (Early) Sparks of Junction City, OH. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Sams.
Memorial visitation is on Saturday, March 18th from 2:00 – 3:30pm
The Memorial service will be at the Funeral Home Saturday, at 3:30pm, following visitation, with Pastor Gordon Shinkle officiating.
There will be a light meal at the Aurora Fire House for family and friends
