BATESVILLE, Ind. – The 55th annual Farm City Banquet will be held on Tuesday, November 11 in the Batesville Middle School Commons.
The annual banquet honors local agriculture and Batesville’s FFA chapter.
The featured speakers this year are Nick and Julie Wenning, of Decatur County. Their freshwater shrimp operation on their row crop farm, plus a passion for conservation, earned them the 2014 Indiana Farm Bureau’s Young Farmer Excellence in Agriculture Award.
Tickets are $7.00 in advance and be purchased from Hertel’s Shoe Store, Geis Electronics, the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, and any Batesville FFA student.
