Alma May Ashton, 92, of Milan passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. Alma was born Sunday, May 23, 1926 in Wheeling, West Virginia the daughter of John and Mayme (Andres) Besco. She married Ernest Ashton and he preceded her in death. She was a dental assistant and a real estate agent. She attended Zion Lutheran Church of Manchester, was past president of the Eastern Star, enjoyed her family, sewing, going on walking rallies and traveling.
Alma is survived by her sons: Joe (Lynn) Ashton of Chattanooga, Tennessee and James (Wendy) Ashton of Milan; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four sisters.
