Southeastern IN — All of Southeastern Indiana is in a moderate drought.
In fact, most of the state is in one, according to a map released on Thursday by the US Drought Monitor.
Drought conditions and other wildfire risk factors prompted Franklin County Commissioners to issue a countywide burn ban earlier this week.
It was the second burn ban put in place by Commissioners in recent weeks.
