Alan Dean Jeffries, 67, of Friendship, Indiana, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, in Cincinnati, OH.
He was born November 15, 1954, in Batesville, IN, son of the late Earl Jeffries and Doris (Morling) Jeffries.
He worked as a Tank Builder for R.L. Industries, retiring after over 32 years of service.
In his younger years, Alan enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved the outdoors. Alan has participated with the Friendship Flea Market for many years. He loved antiques, collectables, and anything to do with guns. He enjoyed watching the Old Western movies. He loved his cats, Tilly and Maggie. Spending time with wife Darlene and his family was his most precious time spent. He will be greatly missed.
Alan is survived by his loving spouse of 31 years, Darlene (Spradlin) Jeffries, children, Michael (Sarah) Bowers of Brownsburg, IN, Jason (Sherry) Bowers of MO; sister, Cheryl Edwards of Lawrenceburg, IN; grandchild, Trevor Bowers; father & mother-in-law, Ray & Mabel Spradlin of Brookville, IN; sister-in-law, Julie (Joe) Payneof Shandon, OH& brother-in-law, Doug Spradlin of Brookville, IN; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Father, Earl Jeffries and Mother, Doris (Morling) Jeffries and brother-in-law Jerry Edwards.
Friends will be received Thursday, December 23, 2021, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Thursday at 7:00 pm.
