Indiana State police have confirmed a teenage shooting victim at Dennis Middle School in Richmond has died. No other details have been released.
Students in building where the shooting took place have been safely transferred to the Richmond High School.
School officials say the building is secure.
Richmond, In. — All Richmond Community School Corporation buildings are on lockdown due to an active shooter situation. Officials made the following post on social media around 8:40 a.m. Thursday:
All RCS buildings are on lockdown. No one may enter or leave the buildings.
Officials say the Dennis Middle School is secure at this time.
