The Batesville Boys 9th Grade Basketball team got back on the winning track with a 27-23 victory at home versus East Central Tuesday night.
The Dogs improve to to 8-5 on the season. Batesville found themselves down 2 at halftime but came out with a strong 3rd quarter to regain the lead, which they never relinquished. The Bulldogs were lead in scoring by Gus Cooper and Alex Westerfeld with 9 points each.
The team is in action again Thursday when they travel to South Ripley.
