The Batesville High School Freshman Basketball team improved to 5-0 on their season with a 38-23 win at East Central.
The Bulldogs started out hot in the first half and led 17-4 going into halftime. Second half full court pressure by The Trojans caught the dogs a little off guard but they battled through. Another night of unselfish play by the Bulldogs had 8 of the 9 active players scoring in the game.
The Dogs have back to back games on the road Saturday and Monday as they play Plainfield and Jennings County.
