The Batesville Boy’s Varsity Tennis team defeated Lawrenceburg 5-0 on Thursday to improve their record to 6-1 on the season and 5-0 in the EIAC.
#1 Singles- Beau Brown defeated Matt Bezold 6-0, 6-0.
#2 Singles- Ben Schwettman defeated Chris Barnachea 6-0, 6-0
#3 Singles- Spencer Rose defeated George Beiderhake 6-0, 6-0
#1 Doubles- Harsh Patel and Paul Ritter defeated Ethan Grimes and Colton Vinup 6-0, 6-1
#2 Doubles- Jonathan Kunkel and Will Harmeyer defeated Eli McNaughton and Anthonly Bley 6-0, 6-1.
The JV beat Lawrenceburg 3-0. Ben Rodgers and Mason Beck won in singles while the doubles team of Sam Giesting and George Ritter were also winners.
Both teams will face Madison on Saturday at 9:00 AM at BHS.
