VERSAILLES, Ind. – The Versailles IGA is permanently closed due to the expiration of the lease.
A sign on the door noted Sunday as the last day of business.
Building owners Robert and Dotty Wood told the Versailles Republican that they anticipate opening another grocery store with the IGA brand at the same location. They plan to retain most employees.
The building owners are also working to bring a Mexican restaurant at the site of the former establishment, the newspaper reports.
