AURORA, Ind. – The Farmers Fair in Aurora is October 1-4 with a parade Saturday morning. INDOT has permitted the closure of State Road 56 from .8 miles west to .5 miles east of U.S. 50.
The closure begins at 8:00 a.m. A local detour utilizes Exporting Street and Fourth Street. Aurora police will be tasked with traffic control and the road will reopen around 1:00 p.m.
The 106th annual Farmers Fair features a King & Queen Contest, carnival rides, street vendors and a variety of music events.
Childhood Memories is the theme for this year’s fair which–in addition to Saturday’s parade–includes a Pet Parade and Diaper Derby.
