he St. Louis 7th Grade Volleyball team defeated Batesville in 3 games. 19-25, 27-25, 15-5.
STL leading servers were: Harlee Masavage 10/12, 8 pts, 7 aces. Alexa miles 10/12, 8 pts, 5 aces. Phoebe Kroen 9/10, 7 pts, 6 aces & Regina Gerbstbauer with 9/10, 7 pts, 2 aces.
Harlee also owned the net with 5/7 kills. Molly Wachsmann also contributed with 2/3 kills.
For Batesville, Abby Westerfeld was 12 for 13 serving earning 7 points including 4 aces. Anna Bauer and Sydney Huffner chipped in with 6 and 4 points respectively. Anna had 2 kills on 7 good hits, while Ellie Cassidy had a kill in 4 good hits.
The 8th grade BMS volleyball team lost to St. Louis in 2 games 10-25; 11-25. Kylie Wanninger had 3 service points. Kylie had 7 good hits and Kelsey Shupe had 5.
The teams will be home on Thursday, September 18th as they face South Dearborn.
