(Ripley County, IN) – The Ripley County Community Foundation’s initiative, the Women’s Giving Circle, is calling on women across the community to join a powerful network dedicated to empowering women and children through philanthropy.
As part of this mission, the Community Foundation is excited to announce its annual Women’s Giving Circle Luncheon, set to take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Napoleon.
This year’s luncheon theme, “Powerful in Pink,” will highlight the strength and resilience of women, with an inspiring panel discussion featuring women from diverse industries. These leaders will share their expertise and experiences on critical topics facing women today.
Our distinguished panel will include:
• Lea Ann King, Panel Moderator, who will guide the discussion with her wealth of knowledge and expertise in leadership and empowerment.
• Liz Leising, who will speak on “Women’s Healthcare” and the challenges women face in accessing quality healthcare.
• Mary McCarty, who will address “Childcare Accessibility” and how it impacts women and families in our community.
• Rebecca Rahschulte, whose topic, “Education Impacting Women”, will explore the intersection of education and opportunities for women.
• Kim Ryan, who will discuss “Female Business Leaders” and the unique challenges and triumphs of women in the business world.
Members of the Women’s Giving Circle also have the exclusive opportunity to vote how to allocate the grants from the Linda S. Phaneuf Women & Children Fund. These grants will support local nonprofits that are creating opportunities for women and children. This year, the members of the Women’s Giving Circle will grant over $6,000 at the luncheon.
Join us as we come together to make a lasting difference! Women of all ages and backgrounds are invited to join the Women’s Giving Circle and attend the Luncheon. Memberships are available at two levels:
• Individual Memberships at $100
• Junior Memberships (under age 25) for $50
75% of each membership will be granted in 2025, while the remaining 25% will be placed into the Phaneuf Women & Children Fund to support future granting. You can join or sponsor the Women’s Giving Circle by visiting www.rccfonline.org/impact/initiatives/womens-giving-circle/.
