Area first responders are invited to attend a breakfast hosted by two lawmakers on Saturday.
Jud McMillin (R-Brookville) and Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) will co-host the event that features an in-depth look on how the revised criminal code impacts police officers, firefighters, prosecutors and all emergency personnel.
The legislators will also be available to speak about other laws that impact the professions.
Rep. Frye said, “In 2014, the General Assembly completely rewrote the Indiana Criminal Code so there are a lot of changes there. Representative McMillin is a co-author of that legislation.”
The breakfast will be held at Jeff-Craig Fire Department, 610 Ferry Street in Vevay at 8:00 a.m.
All emergency responders are encouraged to attend.
