(Batesville, IN) – “The ‘Dynamic Duo,’” said McKenzie Callahan, Southeastern Indiana YMCA Learning Center Childcare Director. “They are just the best! That is why I nominated them for the YMCA S.O.A.R. Award (Service and Outstanding Achievement Recognition).”
Jessi Hall and Jamie Hammoor, both Pre-K Lead Teachers at the YMCA Learning Center, were recognized at the January meeting of the Southeastern Indiana YMCA’s Board of Directors.
Callahan shared about both teachers, “They create the best, engaging, hands-on lessons, they plan the most exciting activities for the kids, they genuinely care about all of their students, they’re adaptable to different learning styles, they’re wonderful role models to other staff, and they create the best learning environment for our preschoolers. They always have a smile on their face, have a positive attitude, are team players, and their hard work does not go unnoticed.”
“They really do have a deep love for their kids, educating them and preparing them for the next step,” added Tara Britton, Southeastern Indiana YMCA Chief Executive Officer. “We are beyond blessed to have them both on our team.”
