(Batesville, IN) – Batesville City Council received an update Monday night on the Batesville Memorial Public Library’s Arts and Innovation Hub project.
Consultants, architects and project mangers briefly outlined the planned work at the facility, and shared drawings and sketches of the hub, which will be built on Walnut Street south of the current library.
Plans call for performance areas inside and out, meeting spaces, gathering areas and a maker space, among other features.
Bids are expected in April, with construction to start shortly thereafter.
Completion is targeted for next year.
