BIS Student Designs Winning “I Voted” Sticker

(Indianapolis, IN) – A Batesville Intermediate School student finished second in the K-3rd category in the 2024 Indiana Secretary of State “I Voted” sticker design contest.

Noelle Bartal’s design will be displayed on the Secretary of State’s website and on social media.

All top three winners in each category will receive a certificate.

Secretary Diego Morales challenged students across the state to design “I Voted” stickers that will be handed out to voters at the polls in November.

“I am incredibly proud of the young Hoosiers who participated in the ‘I Voted’ Sticker Design Contest. Creativity and enthusiasm for our election process shine through each design, showcasing that the future of our state is bright. Congratulations to our winners – you’ve made a positive mark on Indiana’s elections with your artwork,” Morales said.

Nearly 1,000 designs were submitted from all over Indiana.

The other sticker design contest winners were:

K-3rd Grade: 1st place, Iris Lopez, Alexander Hamilton Elementary School; 3rd place, Liam Bruce, Maple Glen Elementary School.

4th-8th Grade: 1st place, Anna Rose Worthington, Zionsville Middle School; 2nd place. Tzipporah Holloway, South Newton Middle School; 3rd place, Melanie Muñoz, Silver Creek Elementary School.

9th-12th Grade: 1st place, Ryli Skinner, West Washington Jr-Sr High School; 2nd place, Ava Sponsler, Mooresville High School; 3rd place, Tori Zook, Mooresville High School.

Morales is inviting first place winners from each age group and their parents to visit the Statehouse later this month to further recognize them.
