BHS Marching Band Advances to State Finals For First Time in School History

(Batesville, IN) – For the first time in school history, the Batesville High School marching band has qualified for the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) Scholastic B state finals.

The Bulldogs will compete at 1 p.m. next Saturday, October 19 at Franklin Central High School.

The group is one of 16 bands from across the state taking part in that classification’s finals.

Also competing that day are Bluffton, Brown County, Corydon Central, Eastern (Greentown), Eastern (Pekin), Henryville, Heritage Hills, North Harrison, North Dubois, Norwell, Pike Central, Evansville Reitz Memorial, Salem, Shawe Memorial, and Wawasee.
