The OA boys soccer team hosted Indianapolis North Central on Saturday, September 21 at The Graveyard. First-half action saw the Twisters struggle to keep possession against a speedy and talented Class 3A Panther squad. North Central led 3-0 at the break with Jazper Ray (24:35), Corbin Butz (16:14) and Mika Asende (12:37) scoring for the Panthers.
In the second half, the Twisters managed to outscore the Panthers 1-0, but it just wasn’t enough in a 3-1 loss. Hayden Blair ended the shutout with 2:59 to play. Isaiah Waggoner recorded 8 saves for the Twisters.
The Twisters fall to 7-4-1 on the season.
Next up OA hosts Knightstown at the Graveyard on Tuesday, September 24 at 5:30 pm. The Twisters will honor the 2025 senior class at this match.
