(Dearborn County, IN) – The Dearborn County Coroner is working to identify human remains found in West Harrison on Tuesday.
The skeletal remains were discovered on property just off Pinhook Road near the Whitewater River.
There is speculation the remains could be those of a woman who was swept away by flood waters in July, but investigators haven’t confirmed that this was the same person.
DNA testing is being used to identify the remains.
