(Oldenburg, IN) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Oldenburg Police Department will host National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1 from 6-8 pm.
The free event will include a cookout and will be held in the shelter behind the Oldenburg Firehouse.
It’s funded by a grant received through Stayin’ Alive L-C-C.
According to the National Night Out website, www.natw.org, “National Night Out culminates annually on the first Tuesday in August. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.”
