Only two area schools competed in Sectional softball action on Wednesday night.
In a semi-final matchup of the 2A Sectional at Brownstown Central, Milan routed South Ripley 12-1. The box score for the game can be viewed here.
And at the 3A Connersville Sectional, Batesville was shut out by South Dearborn 10-0.
Tonight, Milan plays Hauser for a 2A Sectional Championship, while the host school plays Jac-Cen-Del in the Sectional Championship game of the 1A Sectional at North Decatur. The latter will air on WRBI this evening. Coverage will begin at 5:45.
