St. Leon, IN — Twenty-seven members from the East Central FFA Chapter competed in the District 12 FFA Leadership Contests at North Decatur High School on Monday, March 6 (pictured) and several are moving on to state competition.
EC FFA brought home seven 1st place winners, four 2nd place winners, and one 3rd place winner.
Members who placed first will advance to the state competition in June at Purdue University during the Indiana FFA State Convention.
Contests varied from several categories of demonstrations, multiple public speaking events, and quiz bowls.
Students were evaluated and scored by several judges while they competed in their event.
