Brookville, IN — County Commissioners in Franklin County approved proposing a raise for full-time county workers recently. Commissioner Tom Linkel said that giving a 10-percent raise will help the county attract workers. Linkel said that it is now up to the Franklin County Council to decide about a pay raise during their budget hearings scheduled for later this month. Commissioner Linkel did say that the county’s offered benefits package is very good and that the raise will not only help attract employees but is also proposed to help keep the ones they have.
