GREENSBURG, IN — A local tradition that honors America on patriotic holidays will take place on July 4.
A group of people will bring their American flags and gather on the Moscow Road Bridge over I-74 in Greensburg on Monday from Noon until 1 pm to waive the Stars and Stripes.
It was started several years ago by Robin Meyer and has steadily grown since then.
A record-setting 50 people took part on Memorial Day (pictured), and organizers are asking the public to show up with their flags in an attempt to set a new record.
A second group, led by Sandy Volk, will hold a similar rally on the Enochsburg Road overpass on Monday from 9 until 10 am.
