STATEWIDE — Schools across the State of Indiana with mask requirements will no longer need to track close-contact COVID-19 cases.
The Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) has sent revised guidelines to schools, including the end of contact tracing and individual student reporting for schools requiring masks.
Parents in those school corporations with masking will now be notified if someone tests positive or was in close contact.
IDOH says schools with mask-optional policies will still be required to track close contacts and report individual student health results.
They will also have to continue to quarantine students outside of school.
