PEPPERTOWN, IN — State Road 229 south of Walnut Fork Road was closed for a while the afternoon of New Year’s Eve due to a rollover crash.
Oldenburg firefighters and Batesville EMS responded, and a medical helicopter was requested to fly one of the victims to the hospital from the Friday afternoon wreck.
However, scanner traffic indicated the driver was able to get out of the vehicle on their own.
There’s no word on the name of the person flown from the scene or their condition.
