BROOKVILLE, IN — Franklin County topped EIAC rival Rushville in JV and Varsity Volleyball action in the Wildcats now-air conditioned gym.
In the varsity contest, Franklin County won in three sets. Kassidy Schell had five ace serves, 11 kills, eight assists, one block, and one dig. Kacie Williams had 15 assists and four digs. Hadlee Hornsby had two ace serves, two kills, and five digs. Meredith Hoff had one ace serve, five kills, two blocks, and two digs. Saige Mergenthal had one ace serve, four kills, three blocks, and one dig. Kiersten Schell had seven kills, one block, one solo block, and four digs. Kensee Ferman had two kills. Veronica Reeves had one kill and three blocks. And Kylie Lea had two digs.
The Wildcats also took the JV contest in three sets. Stephanie Billman led the team in stats with four kills, five assists and five ace serves. Tiffany Billman also had four kills. Annie Hoff had four ace serves and one block. Piper Twiggs had three ace serves. Cydney Morehead had one ace serve and two kills. Lauren Stacy had one ace serve, one kill, and one dig. Vivian Silas had one kill and one block. Kristen Ison had one kill. And Chloe Clark and Daphne Stokes had one assist each.
