BLOOMINGTON/MUNCIE, IN — Two more universities in the state are requiring masks as a result of the spike in COVID-19 cases due to the Delta variant.
Indiana University has announced all faculty, staff, students, and visitors — regardless of vaccination status — will have to wear a mask inside all buildings, starting today. That goes for all of IU’s campuses across the state, and not just the main campus in Bloomington.
Ball State University in Muncie is also requiring masks for everyone, starting Monday. In an email, President Geoffrey Mearns encouraged all employees and students to get vaccinated.
Last week, Purdue University announced a mask policy change as well, requiring everyone to wear them regardless of vaccination status.
