Greensburg, IN — Brendan Bridges attended his final Greensburg Board of Works and City Council meetings last night as police chief. Bridges is retiring as chief effective July 1. He will be replaced as Greensburg’s top cop by assistant chief Mike McNealy. Bridges joined the department in 2001 and has been chief since 2014. He will become the School Resource Officer at Greensburg Community Schools after he officially retires from the city on July 16. McNealy also joined the department in 2001. He takes over as police chief on July 1.
