The North Decatur Junior High Girls Track team put up a hard fight at last night’s meet. They placed third out of 7 teams.
Some highlights are-Both relay teams placed third; Hannah Gorrell placed third in the 100-meter dash and was part of the 400-meter relay team; Breanna McBride placed tenth in the 100-meter dash; Jewell Verseman placed fifth in the 1600 meter run and tenth place in the 200-meter dash; Clare Kinker placed second in the 400 meter run with a new PR of 1:10, third in the 800-meter run, and was part of the 1600 meter relay team; Olivia Reisman placed tenth in the 400-meter run and was part of the 1600 meter relay team; Sarah Moeller placed fifth in the 800-meter run, fourth in the 1600 meter run, and third in hurdles;
Sydney Rohls placed first in the shot put, second in the discus, sixth in the high jump, and was part of the 1600 meter relay team; Emma Schoettmer placed third in the shot put; Anna Mauer placed fifth in the discus; Kara Lowe placed third in the high jump and fourth in the long jump; Dottie Robbins placed seventh in the long jump.

The ND JH Boys had a strong finish to their track and field season with many PR’s.
Individual conference champions included-Brad Kreiger with a shot put throw of 39’0″; Cooper Parmer in the high jump with a conference winning 5′ 2″; The 4x100m relay team consisting of Cooper Parmer, Marshall Snell, Logan O’Dell, and Kayser Bowles with a race-winning time of 52.92s.
