The Batesville Middle School Boy’s and Girl’s Track teams were both victorious in a three-way meet with North Decatur and St. Louis. The Boys won with a score of 99.5 to North Decatur’s 27.5, and St. Louis score of 17. The girl’s won with a score of 79 to North Decatur’s 38, and St. Louis score of 23.
The kids really are showing improvement in their times/distances/throws, and the coaches couldn’t be more pleased! Way to go, Bulldogs! The Bulldogs have their last home meet on Thursday starting at 5:00 pm.

The ND Charger Boys did very well yesterday evening considering the 11 member squad was short 2 athletes.
Cooper Parmer placed 3rd in the discuss with a throw of 76′. Parmer also tied for 1st place in the high jump with a jump of 5’0″. Marshall Snell ran 13.95s to place 3rd in the 100M dash, while Kaysar Bowles placed 4th with a time of 14.35s. Eli Weisenbach ran 22.07 seconds to take 3rd in the 110M hurdle with Adam Wade placing 4th coming in at 24.15s. Logan O’Dell jumped 13’11” to tie for 2nd place in the long jump. Marshall Snell ran a personal best 1:04.87 to take 2nd place in the 400M run. Cooper Parmer ran a personal best 2:31.56 to take 2nd in the 800M run. Eli Weisenbach placed 3rd in the 200M dash with a time of 29.19s with Kaysar Bowles tight on his heels with a 4th place time of 29.76s.

The North Decatur Junior High Girls Track team placed second in the 3 – way meet at Batesville on Monday Night. They competed against Batesville and St. Louis. Some highlights from the meet are:
The 800-meter relay team placed second and the 1600 meter relay team placed first.
Madi Allen placed first in the long jump and the high jump, and third place in the 800 meter run. Madi was also part of our 1600 meter relay team.
Sarah Moeller placed second in the 100-meter hurdles and was part of our 1600 meter relay team.
Hannah Gorrell placed second in the 100-meter dash.
Clare Kinker placed fourth in the 800-meter dash.
Jewell Versman placed fourth in the 200-meter dash.

Batesville Middle School, St. Louis School, and North Decatur participated in a 3-way meet on (4-26).
St. Louis boys set several new personal records. Griffin Koester carved 17 seconds off his mile time for 5:30.6 and a third-place finish. Marc Meneses set a personal record in the discus with a throw of 86′ 3″ for a second-place finish and also finished second in the shot put with a 28′ 1.25″ throw. The 4×400 meter relay team finished second with a time of 4:53 consisting of Griffin Koester, Marc Meneses, Matthew Lambert, and Santiago Schutte. The boys scored 17 points vs 27.5 for North Decatur, and 99.5 for Batesville.
St. Louis girls team finished third with 25 points vs. 30 for North Decatur vs. 74 for Batesville. Belle Young set a personal record in 100-meter hurdles with a 19.9 second time and first-place finish. Felicity Brelage finished first in the 400-meter race with 72.78-second finish and Belle Young finished second in the 400 meters with a 72.44-second finish. Rachel Suttman set a personal record in the shot put with a 29′ 7.75″ throw and second-place finish.
