Brookville, IN — Franklin County Soil And Water Conservation District will be holding their 10th Annual Tree Giveaway and Canned Food Drive on Friday, April 30. Over 700 tree seedlings will be available on a 1st come basis at our office located at 10165, Oxford Pike, Brookville starting at 9 am.
There will be a limit of 5 trees per person. A variety of tree species will be available including white oak, white pine, river birch, and tulip tree. Please bring canned food items in exchange for your 5 free trees. Food will be donated to local food pantries in Brookville.
This event will be drive up this year. Please pull into a parking space and wait in your car. Someone will be out to collect canned food donations and will get your order for trees. While canned good donations are always appreciated, they are not required to receive trees.
