Batesville Police have tracked down a man who they suspect committed two attempted robberies in September.
Elijah Paul, 34, of Batesville was arrested Tuesday and incarcerated at the Ripley County Jail.
Police believe Paul broke into a maintenance office at McNair Manor Apartments on Tekulve Avenue on Thurs., September 19. Officers say the suspect stole several items, including a drill and miscellaneous tools.
On Wed., September 25, officers were called to “Keep It Clean” car wash on Tekulve Avenue, where someone attempted to gain access into the money machine by using a drill.
After following up on multiple leads, Paul was identified and arrested in connection with both incidents.
Paul is facing felony charges including Theft and Burglary of a Structure.
