Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 701 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 679,079 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,221,661 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.1% positive rate and 18 new deaths were reported for a total of 12,553 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 5,561 cases and 72 deaths reported (up 2 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,744 positive cases and 92 deaths (up 4 new cases), Franklin County has 1,624 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 4 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,299 positive cases and 66 deaths (up 2 new cases ). This is an increase of 12 new cases locally.
