Statewide — Starting Monday, the Indiana State Department of Health will allow eligibility to educators and support staff statewide. This includes:
• Teachers and staff in pre-K through high school, childcare centers, Head Start, and Early Start programs.
• Licensed childcare providers, including center-based and family care providers.
• Classroom aides, bus drivers, janitors, and counselors.
• Administration staff, cafeteria workers, and substitute teachers.
Currently, this group of citizens is able to receive Covid-19 vaccines at Walmart, Kroger, and Meijers through the federal pharmacy program. The next group to be eligible will be the 45-49-year-old age category according to Dr. Lindsay Weaver with the Indiana State Department of Health.
