Single vehicle accident causes power outage

Greensburg, IN — Emergency officials are currently working an accident scene on County Road 850 East.  The accident involves a single vehicle that veered off the roadway and hit a utility pole. There is no word on the condition of the driver.

Decatur County REMC (DCREMC) customers are experiencing an outage affecting over 440 members due to a vehicle accident resulting in a broken pole. The outages are reported around the State Route 46 corridor.

Due to the conditions, DCREMC says the expected restoral time to be 2-3 hours.
