A Sunman man lost his life in a crash in Dearborn County on Monday.
Joseph Michael Simpson, 21, was traveling east on State Road 48 around 1:41p.m. when witnesses told police that he appeared to lose control of the vehicle.
The car went off of the roadway and collided with a tree.
Simpson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department. Police say speed may have been a contributing factor to the crash.
