Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 7,420 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. A total of 275,503 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,009,763 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 13.7% positive rate and 59 new deaths were reported for a total of 4,889 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 1,888 cases and 30 deaths reported (up 72 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,085 positive cases and 42 deaths (up 37 new cases), Franklin County has 571 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 20 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,089 positive cases and 13 deaths (up 71 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 200 new positive cases.
