Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 1,569 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 138,104 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,503,923 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 9.2% positive rate and 27 new deaths were reported for a total of 3,595 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 801 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 10 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 481 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 3 new cases), Franklin County has 322 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 2 new cases), and Ripley County has 374 positive cases and 8 deaths (up 11 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 26 new positive cases.
