Free movie and more on local National Night Out

Versailles, IN — Margret Mary Health, along with the Coalition for a Drug-Free Batesville, Ripley County Drug Awareness Coalition, Southeastern Indiana REMC, Versailles Police Department, Batesville Police Department, Ripley County Sheriff Department, and the Indiana State Police (ISP) are inviting the community to National Night Out at the Bel Air Drive-In Movie Theatre on Wednesday for a free movie! Gates will open at 6:45 pm and the movie will start at 8 pm.

During this event, attendees will enjoy a free movie, which is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, receive a ticket for a free hot dog and drink for the first 240 attendees, meet local law enforcement, and much more. Additionally, the Coalition for a Drug-Free Batesville will hand out five golden tickets. Those in possession will receive a great prize. 

The purpose of National Night Out is to allow the community to have a chance to grow stronger relationships with local law enforcement. Nationally, it is celebrated on the first Tuesday of August, but due to the pandemic, it is being celebrated this week locally.
