Greensburg, IN—The Decatur County Commissioners have added a new ordinance that brings the County back down to a level orange travel advisory, per the regulations in the Governor’s ordinance, but there are still restrictions with penalties in place. The County is still restricting all travel that is not exempt from the Governor’s ordinance between the hours of 10 pm and 5 am.
The ordinance also stipulates that when traveling, there should only be one person in the vehicle unless the vehicle requires more than one to operate it, the driver is transporting one passenger to a location of a business or to employment, or if the driver is traveling with minor children that can’t be left alone.
Restaurants and other businesses in Decatur County will be allowed to open under the restrictions of only being able to offer curbside pickup or delivery.
