Rising Sun, IN—The Rising Sun- Ohio County School Corporation is asking the community to please be patient for the first food delivery today. On Thursday, the School Corporation opened up its food delivery program from being for any student under 18 to anyone in Ohio County aged 65 and over at no cost.
To order call Ohio County Health Department at 812-438-2551. They will need your address and number of people to feed.
The menu includes 3 peanut butter & jelly and 2 deli sandwiches, various fruits and veggies, chocolate milk, muffins, pop tarts, and juices.
They are delivering over 2,000 meals spread out over 87 square miles throughout the day.
