BROOKVILLE, Ind. – An 80-year-old man who passed away while under doctors care in Ohio is possibly the second COVID-19 related death from Franklin County, according to health officials.
The identity of the man has not been released as officials said he had been in the Ohio hospital since March 20th.
Franklin County also reported receiving three additional positive test results Friday bringing the total number to 23 cases. Four other people received negative test results.
Officials also announced that 10 citizens have been released from in-home quarantine in accordance with state health and CDC guidelines.
The best ways to protect yourself are to wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your face with unwashed hands, avoid close contact with people who are sick, stay home when you’re sick, cover your cough or sneeze and clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
