Franklin County High School Girls Varsity Volleyball beat Northeastern High School 3-2. 17-25, 25-23, 25-13, 14-25, 15-8
We had a great night at Northeastern and brought home a WIN!! This is a great feeling of accomplishment to stay strong for 5 sets and pull off the “W”. They were all playing very well. We still had the serve errors but they are starting to stay more focused back on the service line. Kelsey Vail had 3 ace serves and 7 digs. Makyah Richardson had 1 ace serve, 4 kills, 5 blocks, and 2 digs. Rachel Bischoff had 1 ace serve, 3 kills and 8 digs. Jalynn Rogers had 1 ace serve and 13 digs. Mercedez Waddell had 1 kill. Alex Gillman had 2 kills, 2 blocks, and 1 dig. Charlotte Barrett had 5 kills and 1 block. Kelly Layton had 3 digs and 8 assists. Saige Mergenthal had 1 dig and 1 kill. Rae Ertel had 1 dig. Audrey Reister had 1 dig, 2 kills, and 4 assists. Our Freshman team will play Monday, Sept.30th at 5:30 @ FCHS (this has been adjusted from regular-season schedule to accommodate the 3 teams/shared players). Then, the JV and Varsity will play Batesville Tuesday, Oct. 1st starting at 5:30 pm. This is our last Home game and Tuesday will be when we honor our 7 seniors for Senior Night!!! Please come out and show your support for all of our Lady Cats and especially our 7 seniors!!!
