The Batesville Lady Bulldogs posted a 4-1 win at home against Lawrenceburg.
Batesville put up an early 2-0 lead with wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 3 singles. Betsy Harmeyer and Corinne Stone teamed up for a 6-3 and 6-1 victory over Sheridan Houze and Calli Pole at No. 1 doubles. Jenna Ertel was a 6-2 and 6-1 winner over Evelyn McAndrews at No. 3.
The Lady Bulldogs clinched the victory with a win at No. 2 singles by Kate Poltrack. Poltrack defeated Jasmyn Blackburn by the scores of 6-2 and 6-4. The No. 2 doubles duo of Maggie Walsman and Kayla Stone teamed up for a 7-6 and 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles.
Senior Sophie Brown suffered a tough loss at No. 1 singles to Grace Safaviyan.
Junior varsity match winners included Lily Esser and Caroline Kellerman in singles play, while Meredith McCreary and Malia Scheele teamed up to win in doubles.
