Indianapolis, In. — Officials from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles say they will extend hours next week in order to issue identification cards and licenses in preparation for the November election.
Branches will be open Monday, November 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, November 6 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Workers will only process new, amended or replacement identification cards and renewed, amended, or replacement driver’s licenses and learner permits.
Officials say residents with credentials that expired after the last election, they can still be used on election day.
